Hard Conversations

My organization has our formal this weekend, and to be honest, my big has been treating me like crap (not including me in family plans, taking me out of our table, not talking to me in days). Last night after you spoke to us, I realized that my fear of ruining her last week as an active member doesn’t give her the right not to uphold our values or put me down. I just texted her sharing my feelings and am hoping that we can make a change without ruining the time we have left together on campus. Never in a million years would I think I would be the type to initiate a conversation/confrontation, but now I know I’m fearless.

Sorority member finds peace and legacy

I just wanted to send you another note! Finally finding peace with graduating. Just won Outstanding Senior Leader for Greek Life and Top 10 Outstanding Senior Leader for my university, and the F/S council on which I am president won awards in diversity and inclusion. Leaving my university’s GL better than I found it, and that was the goal. Thanks for helping me find peace in what I’ve done and not fear what I didn’t get to do.

Greek member finds power in voice

Today I was in my organization's meeting and as many meetings before I had something to say, but didn't want to challenge others who might have different opinions. I looked down at my fearless bracelet and took the first "STEP" of raising my hand to voice my opinion. More people agreed with me than I would have ever imagined. Let the fearless life begin..haha.

Fraternity member runs for office, and remains positive

Last week I learned a lot, and it helped me get the courage to run for Academic Chair of my fraternity and give a speech in front of everyone. It was not easy getting up there, and I ended up losing by two votes. Reminded me of your situation and I was able to keep a positive attitude afterward.
