Faculty and staff development, convocations and leadership retreats.
Conferences & associations
Meetings and events that bring your room together.
Nonprofit and education-serving companies
When your team or people need to be in the same room.
Fearful to fearing less.
The keynote
The whole group together for the opening, the kickoff or the closing. Real stories, a room that is up and moving, and a way to keep going when change shows up.
The workshop
A smaller, hands-on session where people work through it together, talk to each other and take something home they can use the next day.
Both come with The Fearless Experience: fear cards your people write ahead of time, a moment around the fire pit, and a Fearless band to take home.
Five reasons people choose Darryl
People bring me in because of what happens in the room.
The room stays awake
Depending on your event, some people are there because it's mandatory. Others want to be there but have a hundred emails to answer. Music, videos and a few other tricks up my sleeve keep the energy up in the room.
The room takes part
No one wants to hear somebody speak for an hour. Heck, I don't even want to hear myself. I get people involved, so they're active in their learning.
Fear, without the heavy
We talk about fear, but it's not a downer. We go on the roller coaster together, and no one leaves on a low.
Built on thousands of real fears
For years, I've asked people to write one fear. Thousands of those cards shaped the Fearing Less Framework: Trace, Embrace and Grace, a simple way to fear a little less.
I get educators
I've spoken in schools and on campuses since 2015. I know an August PD day feels different than one in May, and a conference feels different than a retreat. Nobody in that room wants to sit through something that isn't a valuable use of their time.
Fear collector
Darryl Bellamy Jr. left a career in technology consulting to speak full time. He started with students, and educators soon asked him in too. Since 2015 he has given more than 500 presentations in 45 states and DC.
